We’ve harnessed the power of some of the world’s most popular travel information sources and incorporated the content into our corporate travel booking tool, including SeatGuru seat maps, hotel reviews, TripAdvisor city content and towncar/limo booking options.

Detailed SeatGuru Seatmap Overview

SeatGuru.com has enjoyed incredible success, expanding to include more than 350 airplane seatmaps from more than 50 different airlines. Now travelers have access to detailed SeatGuru aircraft seatmap information while booking on Egencia. Travelers can find the best available seat for them on every flight with detailed maps of aircraft cabin layouts & overviews.

Hotel Reviews Offer Insight to Hotel Offerings

Travelers benefit from access to a trusted voice, learning from someone who's been there and done that, especially when it comes to hotel lodgings. The best way to learn about a hotel is to ask someone who's stayed there.

Now Egencia business travelers have access to full hotel traveler reviews from properties around the world when booking on Egencia.

Business travelers will enjoy access to information submitted by other business and leisure travelers about the hotel property.

  • Hotel ratings and reviews will now be displayed within the Egencia booking path
  • Ratings will appear on the search results page
  • Search results can be sorted by traveler ratings
  • User reviews will appear on the "Most recent Traveler Opinions: Hotel Reviews and Ratings" of the Hotel info site

TripAdvisor Business Traveler Tools

TripAdvisor makes up the largest travel community in the world, with more than 25 million monthly visitors, seven million+ registered members and 15 million reviews and opinions. Egencia travelers only have to look to the destinations tab to access amazing city information.

With the integration of TripAdvisor City Guide content, featuring real advice about real destinations from real travelers, business travelers enjoy a powerful resource when making informed decisions about their next trip.

New Towncar/Limo Options

We're excited to announce the launch of our new ground transportation option for all travelers. This latest feature allows designated travelers to book towncars, limos, vans and buses online. As simple as booking a rental car, It's important to note that the feature is enabled by your company's Travel Manager for specific traveler groups.

Towncar/Limo bookings:

  • integrate with policy, reporting and the traveler's itinerary
  • allow travelers to reserve a variety of vehicle classes online (eliminating AAB Fees)
  • are easy to use, intuitive with clear displays

When enabled, the traveler has access to towncar/limo options through new "Towncar/Limo" button on the "car" tab

Simply select the Towncar/Limo option to the right of the Rental car button.

Vehicle Types Include:

  • Sedan/Towncar - max 3 passengers
  • Limo (Stretch Limo) - options may return for 6, 8 or 10 passengers
  • SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) - options may return for 4 or 7 passengers
  • Van - options may return for 6, 8, 10, 11, 14 passengers
  • Bus - options may return for 24 or 48 passengers


Intuitive Location Options

Travelers enjoy a complete set of Pick-up/Drop-off location options that are integrated in the itinerary information, allowing time-saving, one-click selection of:

  • Pick-up/Drop-off at airport (arrival/departure info pre-populated from flight itinerary)
  • Pick-up/Drop-off at hotel (hotel address pre-populated from hotel itinerary)

Special Instructions

There is a field for special instructions, where travelers can further elaborate. For instance, "Pull up to gate and honk twice." There is also another option where the traveler can request to have the car make up to 5 additional stops.

 

Search Results

The search results display includes the following information: vendor name, vehicle class, number of passengers, rate type, vendor rate details and the rate quote.

 

Itinerary Information & Confirmation

Travelers will receive confirmation information from the towncar/limo provider in the itinerary as well as details about canceling or changing the reservations.

 

Egencia Preferred Rates

Egencia Preferred Rates provide the "best available rates" against any published rate or vendor direct rates. The rates are all inclusive, including base rate, tolls, parking, gratuities, airport fees, taxes, insurance and fuel surcharges and STC fees.

Why all inclusive? Most car service providers will quote a 'base rate' over the phone. Unfortunately that rate is not indicative of the actual cost of the transfer and is just the beginning of subsequent charges. All inclusive rates like Egencia Preferred will appear higher initially but in reality represent the true final cost of the ride versus more inaccurate 'base rate' quotes where additional fees are tacked on.
