TripController Introduction

TripController allows you to:

Enable or disable trip approval for each traveler group.

Setup approval policies based on whether the purchase is:

  • in-policy or out-of-policy
  • a flight, hotel, or car
  • domestic or international

Set price controls for both international and domestic purchases. When an item costs more than the defined price controls, trip approval is required.

Define last minute exceptions of 24, 48, or 72 hours.

The general stages are:

One-time set-up

1. Travel Manager turns on TripController for company.
2. Travel Manager goes into different user profiles and selects who may be an approver.

Ongoing approval process

1. Traveler starts trip booking process and is alerted that approval is required.
2. Traveler sees that their approver has been notified, and may reserve their flight or other trip component.
