New Storm Forecast for Mid-Atlantic States Feb. 9
Recent severe weather causes high number of flight cancellations and delays.
By
iJet
Early Tuesday, February 9, a new storm system is expected to bring at least 6-inches of snow to Illinois, Ohio and Michigan. By Tuesday afternoon, the storm will move into the Mid-Atlantic region bringing 5-9 inches of snow into western and northern Virginia and reaching Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey by the evening.
While all D.C. airports are open at this time, flight delays are likely through Feb. 9 as passengers reschedule cancelled flights. The new storm system, while not as severe as last weekend’s storm, will likely disrupt travel.
Please be advised that severe weather is causing a high number of flight disruptions and longer than normal hold times for Egencia travelers. Travelers are also advised to expect flight cancellations and delays during this period.
